TRIBO is the natural result of Caminhos da Infância mission since the very beginning: to promote the welfare of children and families. It features 3 annual summer sleepaway camps for 35 children, sacha supervised by 14 monitors and one coordinator.
Organizing these camps is the task of a Technical Director, with the support of the Steering Board.
Our association doesn’t own a big enough venue in a natural environment to hold these camps. So, every year, we contact private and public associations to find that special place that fits our TRIBO goals.
And TRIBO aims to fulfill several goals. If on one hand, we aim to meet the families needs; on the other, we consider to be essencial to offer children a totally new scenario where they can be active participants of their acquisation of knowledge, explore challenging spaces and develop attitude and values.
We have camped at Convento do Varatojo, in Torres Vedras and at Quinta da Narcisa, in Santarém!
